@Anima You can use another Arduino as a programmer, and using Arduino IDE you can load the boot loader. I suggest to use OptiBoot as it's smaller, although technically for the Uno it works well with the Nano as well since they share the same ATmega328p chip.

This message means your operating system can't open the (virtual) serial port /dev/ttyUSB0. There are a few things to check: Is the Arduino connected to your computer? Do a ls /dev/ttyUSB*. Sometimes, when you disconnect and reconnect the Arduino, it gets a different name, like ttyUSB1.

Found it at last, avrdude-6.3-arduino2 had an unwanted dependency on libusb-0.dll . Launching the IDE by clicking the .ino bypasses the inclusion of IDE root in PATH, so the dll doesn't get loaded at runtime.
